Welcome to your journey to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation!  The following items are required as part of your preparation for the Sacrament.

 Mass:  Attending weekend Mass is an obligation for every Catholic and is only excused for a serious reason such as sickness, work or hardship issues.   

The Sunday Eucharist is the foundation and confirmation of all Christian practice. For this reason the faithful are obliged to participate in the Eucharist on days of obligation, unless excused for a serious reason (for example, illness, the care of infants) or dispensed by their own pastor. Those who deliberately fail in this obligation commit a grave sin.    CCC 2181

Administrative requirements: 

Baptismal Certificate:   a copy of baptismal certificate needs to be on file at Holy Spirit.   Copies can be emailed to Faye Nye or given to your catechist to put in your attendance folder.  DUE—November 1st, 2022.

Sponsor Good Standing Form (Year 3 only):  To be completed by the Sponsor regardless of whether they are members of Holy Spirt Church or another parish. DUE—Feb. 1st, 2023.
